How Tall Is Jeremy Paxman?

To the person currently searching Google to ascertain the correct vertical dimension of the nation's favourite surely current affairs presented, I can confirm that Jeremy Paxman is 5 feet and 7 inches tall, though his inside leg measurement is still a somewhat impressive 32 inches.

It was a pleasure to be of service.

Where are you getting these odd Google queries from? Inquiring minds want to know.

...a somewhat impressive 32 inches.

...still, his face lacks something - probably an expression!

Axmxz, well as soon as I spot them in my statistics, I try to respond as best I can. Where in geographical terms they come from is less easy to track but I'm working on it.

Selena, indeed. Were it not for the fact that I've recently healed a ten year rift with the man, I might say more. I'm cautious in case he attacks me and punches me in the knees.

Statistics, what statistics? Is there a section on blogger that lets you monitor how people get to your site? This is deeply exciting. Does one need to install any special programs to do this?

Axmxz, within Blogger there aren't but it's easy to add stats. You simply do this:

Go to www.statcounter.com and register an account.

It will give you details on how to add the little bit of code you need. It will be in HTML so you simply go to your Blogger Layout, add a new element for your sidebar, make it a JAVA/HTML element, and then past the code there. Nothing will show up on your site (unless you chose in Statcounter to have the option to show a logo). Then watch the stats via statcounter.

It doesn't keep more than a few hundred, but it's okay for general use.

(Dear Lord, I think I'm turning into Stephen Fry).

Installed. Muchos gracias! Now I sit back and wait for someone to stumble in.

There are worse things to turn into. For one thing, you'd be able to kiss any and all employment worries goodbye...

Ah arent you being all informative Richard how nice of you? :)
And I love my statistics... :) I get a lot of Tony Slattery for some reason, maybe I should take your cue and do a blog post about him... what is the weirdest so far? Freud oral fixation, guys with floppy hair, Horatio Caine standing sideways, Joanna Lumley TV striptease, tinman floating casket but my favorite so far is Stephen Fry in a blender... :)

I always imagined Paxman as a tall lanky chap around 6 foot 4 inches or similar. He's small!

Beaman, I know. I'd think the same. Mick Hucknall has the same problem, but in reverse. He always looks like a midget when I see him in magazines. In the flesh, he's actually six feet seven and all of it ginger.
